Yeah, 2009! There are two new videos up -- one of the December 4 Pro-Coalition rally, which appeared on my blog, and an old never-before-seen(-outside-of-Ste-Anne) short film called Le prêtre, which is great if you are in the mood to laugh at silly anglo kids trying to speak French.

Contrary to what my empty promises may have lead you to believe, I have started translating the Sexy Politicians Hotlist. Certain things like Wikipedia's lack of a French article on sovereign democracy and Tristan's ruthless undermining of my self-esteem have been a bit of a road block, but I'll post a few at a time as I finish them.

In case you are wondering how NaNoWriMo turned out, I did manage to hammer out the 50,000 word beast, as usual, although I have not yet celebrated said event (hint to anyone looking for an excuse to drink). My original novel was a bit ambitious for NaNoWriMo, so I went back to my old themes of religion, small towns, and sexual violence, with an abortion thrown in for good measure. I won't be posting my efforts in their entirety like the 2006 novel, since I actually think this rough draft might have some potential. If I ever manage to edit it up, that is.
